A recent character design of a wizard boy named Kroff. When he was a babe, his parents were migrating to a new town to live in. In order to reach this town, they had to pass through the large, dense Forest of Kroff. At one point they were being chased by bandits, and in an attempt to keep her child alive, his mother hid the baby in some moss by a pond. His parents did not make it. The baby, all alone in the wet moss, wept and attracted some of the docile forest creatures. They were frogs, magical frogs to be exact, and they decided to take the babe as one of their own. These magical frogs could speak human language, and could sometimes take on the form of humans to their own liking. The young babe grew into a young man under their care, and not just any young man, but the guardian of the Forest of Kroff. The young man was never given a name, he became known as Kroff simply because he dwells in it. Serious and quiet, Kroff was an exceptionally gifted magician. He loves the creatures of the forest and will do anything to protect them. He prefers to stay out of sight and stay unknown to most humans. He claims he does not trust humans and feels they will try to destroy the forest and its resources. If he were to be honest with himself, he longs for human contact. Kroff truly has no idea how to act around humans and is shy of interacting with them.
